Ham Radio training in Vijayawada


We are glad to share with you a brief report on Ham Radio training which was conducted in a daylong session on 26-4-15 in Regional Sciences Centre, Vijayawada. The daylong session started in the morning 9-30 and continued up to 4-30pm in the evening. Wide range of publicity through print media was created enthusiasm among various sections of people who came from far off places like Eleswaram in east Godavari and Unagatla, a remotely village in West Godavari of Andhra Pradesh. Among them few are engineering graduates with the Electronics as the core subject and others are studying 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of ECE. This time good number of Girl students of various Engineering colleges took part in training.

In the afternoon session Dr. Sarath Dean of research wing of Koneru Lakshmaiah University, has attended as a Chief Guest and delivered key note address. His speech was major attraction to the Engineering students and other participants they are all inspired and enthused by his words. Participating certificates have been presented by Dr. Sarath, Dean of research wing of Koneru Laskhmaih University, to all the candidates. After taking part in the group Photo with the Chief Guest all the trainees have dispersed. We are so much thankful to the authorities of Regional Science Centre for having provided us with all the facilities in their premises to conduct the Ham training in a hassle free manner.
