Ham Radio Awareness Programmes to "Bhimavaram Students"

         Demo’s and awareness programs of Ham Radio were conducted in Engineering colleges of Bhimavaram, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradeshin in the dates of 22^nd, 23^rd ,24^th  and 29^th of December 2014 . Engineering students of 6 leading colleges have participated in the awareness programme. 

     Wide range publicity & coverage was done through the print & Electronic media. In total 4 days Ham awareness progrmmes were conducted in total 6 colleges in which not only students were participated but also teaching & other administrative staff were also participated.

    

Ham Radio Demo to the students of 9th Class

    Educational Department of Andhra Pradesh Government has took initiative to introduce a chapter on Ham Radio in the English textbook of 9^th Class students. Apart from this, a lesson on Disaster Management has also been introduced in the same text book with a view to bring awareness in Disaster Management among students.

      On the invitation of Smt. M. Geethanjali, M.A., B.Ed Principal of Sri Raghavendra Bala Kuteer English Medium School, Sattenapalli of Guntur District, “Ham Radio Awareness programme” was conducted by “Academy of Ham Radio’ Vijayawada. A Lecture cum power point programme with Ham Radio demo has been arranged to the 9^th class students of that school.  The Programme was also attended by the Principal & Teaching staff of the School. This programme has given good insight of Ham Activities which instigated many of the students to enter into the Ham activities to serve the nation at the time of Disasters and to develop their technical skills.
