Ham Radio Results have been returned back due to insufficient address

We would like to share through this blog that the Ham Radio result sheets of three qualifying candidates have been returned back for want of insufficient address which have been dispatched to the individual candidates recently by Registered Post. If any one of you knows these candidates personally, kindly try to obtain fresh address and furnish us through this blog or otherwise inform them to contact us immediately. So that we shall send qualifying results sheets to the concerned candidates by registered post. The Names of the candidates of whose letters have been returned back are as follows – 1. Thouta Shivabalu, 2. Palaka Lakshman, 3.  Kongarapu Prasanth Raju.

Procedure for Applying Ham Radio License

I am glad to inform you that recently conducted Ham Radio Examination to our trainees of Academy of Ham Radio in Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao College of Engineering, Vijayawada on 31-01-2018, total 84 candidates were qualified.

Now all these candidates can apply for the grant of Ham Radio License.

 The following points are to be noted while applying for Ham License

The initial step for this is to complete the process of online payment of Life time Ham Radio license fee (Rs 2000) throughhttps://bharatkosh.gov.in/

After the successful transaction you will get the Receipt for your payment. You have to submit this receipt printout along with the application for Ham Radio License.

Application for Ham Radio license shall be submitted with the covering letter along with the following documents.

Enclosures:

1.     Two Pass port size Photographs with name on the on back side.

2.     Printout of on line receipt, received through bharthkosh.gov.in

3.     Attested copy of Aadhaar card for address Proof of location of Amateur station

4.     Attested copy of birth Certificate along with father’s Name.

Ham Radio Result sheets Dispatched through Registered Post

Hearty congratulations to those candidates who have qualified Ham Radio Examination conducted in Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao College of Engineering, Vijayawada on 31-01-2018. Total 84 candidates have been declared qualified.

Ham Radio Result sheets have been dispatched to the individual applicants through Registered post. In case anyone has not received “Result sheet” till now, kindly contact me immediately through my mobile 9248346843. Result Sheet is very important document supposed to be kept along with your records like any other certificate for future needs and is essential for applying for Ham Radio operating license.

Ham Radio Examination to 154 candidates in Vijayawada

We are happy to inform you that Ham Radio License examination was conducted on 31-01-2018 at 12-00PM to 1-00PM in Potti Sri Ramulu College of Engineering & Technology, Vijayawada. This Examination was conducted by the official’s of Wireless monitoring station, Vijayawada. Those who qualify in this examination are will receive Ham Radio communication License from the Wireless Planning & coordination wing, Government of India, New Delhi.

Col V. Ramulu, Secretary, A.P Social Welfare Residential Educational institutions Society who is instrumental in taking special interest in deputing 100 students from various schools of Andhra Pradesh, right  from Srikakulam to Chittur Districts for undergoing Ham Radio training. 30 Students, From Vignan University 10 students from Grandhi Varalakshmi Venkata Rao Institute of Technology, Bimavaram, apart from this, 44 others also appeared for this examination. Applicants from other states also attended for this examination. Two from Telangana, two from Orissa and one from Karnataka appeared along with other candidates.

Total 174 candidates were trained among them 154 were attended. Probably this is the first time in India that a huge number of candidates have appeared for this examination in such a grand scale. With the increased number of candidates makes Vijayawada a Hub of ham radio operators in the State and their services could be utilized not only at the State level but also at the entire Nation level at the time of natural disasters by supplementing emergency communication network.

Our sincere thanks to Sree Chalavadi Malklikarjuna Rao, President of Potti Sriramulu College of Engineering & Technogly and Dr. K. Nageswara Rao, Principal for permitting us to utilizing their college premises as examination Centre. We are also thankful to Dr. M Ranga Rao, College Coordinator who himself a licensed Ham Radio made all the required arrangements for conducting this exam in a Hassle- free manner.

Ham Fest India 2017

The countdown has begun! In another few hours, the most awaited National level two day event “Ham fest India 2017” will commence on 16^th of this month. This time it is going to be very big & interesting event, since this being conducted in “Kotkata” a tourist destination & a science Metropolitian city. Huge numbers of delegates are coming to Kolkata across the length & breadth of the country to join in the fest.

         Today, that is 14-12-2017 on,  More than 25 Hams are leaving to Kolkota from Vijayawada by “Duranto Express” of those who registered for this festival. More than 50 Radio Hams from both the Telugu speaking states are leaving for kolkota to take part in the Event. Among them  a city Ham Dr. Maturi Ranga Rao, Professor in Electronic communication department, PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology, Vijayawada has been designated  as one of the key speaker. Dr. Maturi Ranga Rao is going deliver a lecture on “Advancements on Antennas in Wireless Communications” as part of the technical sessions of the National event.  

It is something like a real festival of hams in which many Ham’s  are going to Kolkata not only from India but also from abroad like Bangladesh & other countries. This year turnout was so high the organisers were forced to close all types’ registration process which includes spot registration since the target was all ready reached 10 days before the event.  More than 800 delegates have enrolled their names for the registration as delegates’. When compare to this number is bigger than that of the previous gathering in “Mount Abu”.

Stimulating technical sessions and lectures, Exhibition of electronic goods and Participation of international industries like I-com, Kenwood, Motorola, etc are going to be some of the major attractions of this event. Above all, eye ball meetings of individual hams   with other Hams is going to add more spice to this exhilarating mega event.
