Ham Radio in Chalapathi Institute of Engineering & Technology

We have been permitted by Dr. Potluri Pandarinath, Principal, Chalapathi Institute of Engineering & Technology to hold sessions to sensitizing the students of their college in Ham Radio.

Two sessions were conducted for the benefit of ECE and CSE students. The first session was conducted exclusively for the ECE Students which commenced at 10-30AM and ended at 12-00PM. The evening session exclusively for the CSE students commenced at 2-00PM and concluded at 3-30 PM.

All our awareness programmes were fruitful and evoked a considerable amount of response from all streams of Students. Wherever we went one thing is to observe common everywhere that most of the students are showing interest in this Electronics & Scientific hobby.

Ham Radio awareness drive in St Marys Women’s Engineering College

On the part of Ham Radio Awareness drive, we have approached the management of St Marys Women’s Engineering College seeking their permission to conduct a Ham radio sensitizing programme in their college. The management readily gave their consent to hold a special session on Ham radio in their campus. 

About more than 100 girl students participated in the awareness programme which was conducted on 22-9-2018 from 2-30PM to 4-00PM. A PowerPoint presentation was arranged with the slides showing activity to understand A, B,C of Ham Radio. Later on, the concluding part live demo was arranged which was evoked considerable enthusiasm among all the students.

Ham Radio Awareness in G V R & S College of Engineering & Technology

Dr. P Harikrishna Prasad, Principal responded positively to our request and permitted us to conduct Ham Radio training awareness campaign in their GVR & S College of Engineering & Technology, Guntur 21-9-2018 to both the streams ECE & CSE branches of Engineering.  Mr. B.Chandran Mahesh, HOD, ECE, has made all the arrangements to conduct the awareness programme and he was present in the conference hall throughout the session. He personally exhorted all the ECE students to undergo Ham radio training to obtain Ham Radio License which is key to enhance practical knowledge in the field of electronics.

 In the  Morning exclusively for the ECE students session was conducted in between 10.30AM to 12.00PM and evening session was conducted for the students of CSE in between 2.30 to 4.30PM. Both the sessions were evoked enthusiasm among all branches of students and all of them shown interest to become Ham Radio license operator.
