Participation in Ham Fest India 2018


We are happy to announce that about 50 Ham Radio Operators have took part in the just concluded Ham Fest India 2018 which was conducted in Reva University, Bangalore on 29 & 30th of December 2018. This Mega Event was successfully organized jointly by Reva University and Indian Institute of Hams.
All the participants were presented with mementos, souvenir, Kits, and participants certificates etc.

          Students who have received Ham Radio Licenses recently of Vignan University, GVIT Engineering, Bhimavaram apart from this some Hams in and around of Vijayawada total numbering about 50 were participated in this National Event. Ham Fest conducted at national level once for a year in one of the major elected city. Wireless Advisor, Asst Wireless advisors to the government of India and other dignitaries were attended as guests in which several proposals have been boost the Ham Radio activity and to increase the Ham population in India whose services can be important at the times of Disasters. The city Kanyakumari was voted as next “Ham Fest 2019” venue by all the participants of the convention.  

 Stimulating technical sessions, lectures, Demonstrations of satellite communications, Exchange of knowledge of new technologies, Exhibition of electronic goods and Participation of dealers of Radio communication Equipment etc. were the some of the major attractions of this event. Above all, eyeball meetings of individual hams with other Hams who joined from length and breadth of our nation was one of the important aspects of this national gathering.
