Biggest Ham get-together in Vijayawada

On the eve of Karthika Vanabhojanaalu about 200 Ham Radio operators gathered in the Chandana Kedarish farm house which is situated on the banks of river Krishna, Vijayawada on 20-11-2022. Hams came from the places like Hyderabad, Nellore, Cuddapah, and Anantapur and even some have turned out from far-off places like Bangalore and Kolkata also. Hams belong to all walks of life some are College principals, Directors and some are lawyers and Doctors. We would to thank Sree Narasimhachari, Special Secretary, Government of India and Shri Nageswara Rao Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vijayawada both for gracing the occasion as Chief guest and special invitee respectively. Among them, Sree Narasimha chairi is having a Ham Radio license granted by the Ministry of communication Government of India and is continuing as Ham for a long time.

Veteran Hams like Amarendra VU2AAP and Dr Rajasekhar VU2HMY have installed Satellite communication equipment and explained to the audience how this communication facilitates Hams to work with nearly 200 countries with low power round the clock without having any signal dropout. A retired Engineer from ISRO explained to the audience the role of ISRO in National Development. All these Technical lectures have been attended by the audience with rapt attention.

               In the Afternoon, Cultural activities have been conducted in which enthusiastic Family members of Hams participated and those who are winners have been presented with gifts.
