As part of our endeavor to make every eligible candidate make as Ham we have conducted awareness programme on “Ham Radio” in Vignan’s Institute of Management and technology for women, Guntur on 17-09-2018. Introductory speech was delivered by Dr. P. Radhika, Principal dwelled at length on the topic and exhorted students to become Ham’s. Later Students were explained about uses of Ham Radio to develop their technical skills through a power point presentation programme and with a live demo. More than 300 girl’s students were attended to this programme along with some faculty members. It was created a lot of enthusiasm among them. The programme was commenced at 2-00 PM and continued till 4.00PM despite frequent power breakdown due to a sudden change in the weather conditions which fails to dampen the enthusiasm of students and they continued to glue on their seats in the meeting hall till the end of the session.
